Integrated Terminal

4 airlines 20 restaurants 5 lounges 15 shops

Terminal T2 hosts 4 airlines. It's IndiGo's home turf at CCU. You'll find 20 dining options, 5 lounges, 15 shops here.

10+ years ago CCU merged domestic and international into one Integrated Terminal

The Integrated Terminal at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport runs both domestic and international flights from a single building, covering what used to be split as T1 and T2. Air India, IndiGo, Qatar Airways, and Singapore Airlines all work out of this side of CCU, so a Delhi hop and a Doha long-haul can leave from the same departures hall. The key thing: follow signs, not old terminal numbers, because your “terminal change” here is usually just an escalator or elevator ride.

If you land and need to connect, look for the blue and white “Transfer/Check-in” signs near the arrivals flow, then take the elevator or lift up one level to departures. Regulars quote this as the only step that matters for domestic–international moves at CCU, instead of hunting for a separate building. Expect about 10–15 minutes to walk from a domestic gate to the international check-in row if your bags are checked through and the lines are reasonable.

Food: local classics plus global chains in one long concourse

On the departures level, Haldiram's sits airside and pushes out chole bhature and snacks from around ₹200, while Bhojohori Manna and Biryani House handle heavier Bengali and biryani plates in the ₹300–₹500 range. International flyers end up near KFC, Subway, and Wow Momo on the pier closer to the foreign carriers’ gates, so you can grab a chicken rice bowl at KFC or momos for about ₹150–₹250 before a late-night Qatar or Singapore departure.

Coffee and sweets cluster near the central security zone: Cafe Coffee Day and Tea Junction both serve quick caffeine fixes from about ₹150 a cup, and you’ll spot Flury's for pastries and cakes in the ₹200–₹350 band. Keventers turns up near the main retail run with thick shakes that can easily hit ₹250–₹300. If you just want a sit-down pre-flight meal, Barbeque Nation usually takes up a larger footprint toward the domestic side with buffet pricing far higher than the food court stalls, so budget at least ₹800–₹1,000 per person.

Lounges: pick by airline and gate, not just price

The Integrated Terminal has multiple lounges with similar names, so check your invite carefully: Travel Club Lounge and the TFS Lounge both accept many Priority Pass and card programs, while the Air India Maharaja Lounge and Vistara Lounge sit closer to their own domestic and international gates. There is also a separate VIP Lounge that usually needs airline or government-level access, not walk-up payment.

For a late-night bank of departures around 01:00–03:00, the Travel Club Lounge often carries the heaviest crowd, so lines can form even if you have a premium card. In that case, check if your card or boarding pass also lists the TFS Lounge at a nearby gate, which can be two to three minutes’ walk but sometimes half as busy. Don’t waste an Air India Maharaja Lounge access on a 30-minute connection when the gate is already boarding; the walk from mid-concourse security to a remote stand bus gate can run 8–10 minutes on its own.

Shopping: Biswa Bangla, duty free, and last-minute basics

CCU’s Integrated Terminal puts duty free right after immigration on international departures, with liquor, perfume, and chocolate lining both sides of the corridor; prices swing enough that it’s worth checking two shelves before you commit to a 1L bottle. WHSmith and Relay sit along the main pier, so you can grab a paperback, SIM accessories, or a ₹40–₹60 bottle of water between gates. If you need electronics, the Croma outlet carries chargers, headphones, and adaptors at city-level pricing, not inflated “airport only” tags.

Local brands get actual floor space here: Biswa Bangla sells Bengal handloom and souvenirs, while Fabindia stocks kurtas and casual wear; both often run fixed MRP so there is no haggling. Shoppers Stop, United Colors of Benetton, and Puma cover regular clothing and shoes near the central zone, with Hidesign bags and Tanishq jewelry in glass-front stores nearby. Ray-Ban’s dedicated counter appears along the same strip, useful if you lost sunglasses in the city and need a replacement before a bright morning arrival into Doha or Singapore.

One last thing

Plan your timing around the single-building setup: give yourself at least 30–45 minutes from curbside to gate in non-peak hours, and always follow the “Transfer/Check-in” signs and elevator up to departures instead of hunting for an old T1 or T2 board.
