Five-minute walk from Terminal 1, P3 is the cheap lot
P3 sits opposite Kraków Airport’s Terminal 1, about a 4–6 minute walk from the departures entrance, and it’s the airport’s economy parking option. It’s an open-air surface lot with marked spaces and basic lighting, usually cheaper than the closer P1/P2 garages for stays over 24 hours. If you’re parking for a long weekend or a full week, P3 is the budget play on-site.
This lot serves all Terminal 1 flights, including Ryanair, LOT, and other Schengen and non-Schengen departures, so you don’t have to worry about separate terminals. Access is via the main airport access road off DK7, with a barrier ticket system on entry and payment machines near the pedestrian exit. P3 is signposted in blue as “P3 Economy” as you approach the terminal area.
Online prebooking often undercuts drive-up rates by several złoty per day, especially if you’re staying 4–7 days. Kraków Airport regularly runs promos on long-stay economy parking, and P3 usually carries the lowest advertised daily price on-site. If you’re comparing with off-airport operators that add a shuttle, factor in an extra 10–15 minutes each way for those, versus the sub‑10‑minute walk from P3.
There’s no height restriction in P3, so standard cars, small vans, and SUVs usually fit without issue, unlike some multi-storey structures. Lanes are tight in places, so avoid parking right on the main drive path if you have a wider vehicle. Lighting columns cover most rows, but back corners of the lot can feel dimmer after about 22:00.
Tip: Screenshot your row and nearby sign when you park, and allow an extra 10 minutes in rain or snow for the uncovered 4–6 minute walk back to Terminal 1.
