P2

Long-term parking

150 meters from Terminal 1, P2 is the long-stay workhorse

P2 sits about 150 meters from Kraków Airport Terminal 1, signed clearly as long-term parking. It’s an open-air lot on airport grounds, not an off-site shuttle setup, so you walk straight to departures in roughly 3–4 minutes. This is the main long-stay option if you’re leaving the car for several days or more.

This lot is officially labeled as “P2 Długoterminowy” and operates 24/7, matching the airport’s early-morning Ryanair and late-night LOT schedules. Spaces are marked and numbered, which helps when you return on a 23:30 arrival and are jet-lagged. Barrier entry and exit are automatic with tickets and payment machines by the pedestrian exits.

P2 pricing is tiered by day, with the per-day rate dropping once you pass the first 24 hours. It usually comes out cheaper than P1 for stays of 3 days or longer, and it targets week-long or 10-day trips that are common on holiday charters. Short hops of under 24 hours often make more sense in the short-term zones closer to the terminal.

The walk from P2 to Terminal 1 is on a paved, lit path, with signs pointing to “Terminal / Dworzec” and basic shelter from parked cars but no covered walkway. There are no EV chargers inside P2 as of now, and there’s no height restriction beyond standard passenger vehicles; larger vans and SUVs fit fine in regular bays.

Tip: Pre-book P2 on the official Kraków Airport website if you’re staying more than 3 days; advance online rates are typically lower than drive-up prices and reduce the risk of turning up to a nearly full lot in peak July–August holiday weeks.
