₹500 gets you 4 hours of Premium Car Park valet
Premium Car Park at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV) runs as a valet-only option, sitting directly in front of the terminal complex serving T1 and T2. Current published tariffs from 15 May 2025 start at ₹500 for up to 4 hours, then step up in fixed slabs instead of per-minute billing. You hand over the keys at the dedicated valet bay and the staff move the car to the premium area inside the main parking zone.
The revised 2025 parking chart from the airport shows Premium Car Park priced higher than the regular car park, but still in reach for short work trips or family drop-offs under 24 hours. If you plan to leave the car for a full day, expect the rate to jump into four figures in rupees instead of the low hundreds. This setup suits quick turnarounds more than multi-day holidays from TRV.
Valet staff operate during standard airport flight banks, covering early-morning departures and late-evening arrivals at both T1 (mostly domestic) and T2 (international). Because it sits at the front of the terminal access road, walking time from the valet handover point to check-in counters usually stays under 3–5 minutes, even if you are dragging two large suitcases and a cabin bag. You avoid looping around the larger public lot hunting for a slot.
There are no widely reported regular tricks or complaints yet, since the revised Premium Car Park tariffs only kicked in on 15 May 2025. Still, TRV traffic can spike around festival periods like Onam in August or September, which pushes demand for the closest bays. One practical move: screenshot the current tariff board at the entry gate before you hand over your car, so you know the exact slabs in case you extend your stay by a few hours.
