Daily rates at Car Park P2 suit longer trips from TRV
Post-15 May 2025, Thiruvananthapuram Airport lists Car Park P2 as its long-stay option, sitting in the main parking area serving T1 and T2. This is the lot to look at if your trip runs beyond 24 hours and you want to leave the car on airport property instead of using off-site operators along the NH66 corridor.
P2 falls under the revised tariff that kicked in on 15 May 2025, so expect pricing structured by 24-hour blocks rather than quick-turn hours. That setup makes more sense if you’re away three nights to a week, typical for Gulf runs on airlines like Air India Express and IndiGo out of TRV’s terminals.
The long-stay section sits behind the main access lanes used by short-stay parking near the departure forecourt for T1 and T2, so factor in a few extra minutes to walk back to check-in. With the terminals only a few hundred metres apart along Airport Road, you can still roll a suitcase from P2 to either terminal without needing an airport shuttle.
Because P2 is part of the official airport car park, entry and exit use the same automated ticketing and payment system as the rest of the TRV parking area. That means one ticket printed at the barrier on arrival, then payment at the booth or machine before you drive out, matched to your total hours in the long-stay zone under the new 2025 tariff.
