Motorcycle Parking

Two-wheel designated area

Five minutes from T1, Motorcycle Parking keeps two‑wheelers separate

The dedicated Motorcycle Parking area at Tenerife Sur (TFS) sits within a short walk of Terminal T1, so you’re off the bike and at check-in in roughly 5–7 minutes depending on your pace. It’s a marked zone specifically for two-wheel vehicles, which means you’re not trying to squeeze into narrow car bays or fight with high concrete wheel stops that don’t work with bikes.

This is an open-air surface area, so your bike sits outside in typical Tenerife sun and wind for the duration of your trip. There’s no barrier arm or height restriction to deal with, which makes quick drop-offs easy if you’re just running in to meet an arriving flight at T1 arrivals. Because the airport doesn’t publish a separate tariff for motorcycles, expect pricing and rules to mirror the standard on-airport car parks, charged per calendar day.

Signage for two-wheel parking usually appears as you approach the main terminal access road, with painted symbols on the asphalt and signs pointing to the motorcycle zone. The layout typically gives you space to turn around without multi-point shuffles, useful if you arrive fully loaded for a 7–10 day island ride. You’re in with other bikes and scooters rather than cars, which cuts down on tight door gaps and random trolley impacts.

There’s no credible online chatter on security or theft at this motorcycle area, but standard practice at Spanish airports applies: use a disc lock or chain, avoid leaving soft luggage on the bike, and keep registration documents on you once you walk into T1 security. If rain is in the forecast for the south of Tenerife, pack a bike cover in your top box; it keeps both seat and controls usable when you roll out after a late landing.

Practical tip: take a quick photo of your exact bay and nearest T1 entrance sign before you walk off; the parking roads all look similar after a midnight return from mainland Spain.
