Long Stay Parking

On-site economy

Most TFS parking chatter skips the Long Stay lot entirely

Long Stay Parking at Tenerife Sur Airport sits on-site by T1 and works as the airport’s economy option when you’re leaving the car for several days or more. You park within walking distance of the single terminal, so you’re not relying on an off-site shuttle or a taxi back to the airport. Signage on the access roads into TFS clearly marks the long-stay area, and it’s run directly by the airport operator, not a third-party brand.

Because TFS only has T1, you don’t deal with wondering which terminal car park you need; Long Stay Parking feeds straight into the departures side used by airlines like Ryanair, easyJet, Jet2, and Iberia. You roll into the barrier, pull a ticket, and self-park in marked bays, then walk toward the terminal entrance in a few minutes. Pricing is aimed at multi-day trips, so it usually beats the standard car park once you pass the first couple of days, especially on 7–14 day holiday runs.

This is outdoor, open-air parking, so your car stays in the Tenerife sun and wind for the entire stay, which matters for a 10- or 14-night booking common on UK and mainland Spain packages. There’s basic security with perimeter fencing and controlled entry/exit barriers, the same operator setup used across the airport’s other official car parks. You pay at the automatic machines on return, using the ticket from the entry barrier, then drive out through the exit gates toward the TF-1 motorway.

Online pre-booking via the official TFS parking portal usually locks in a lower per-day rate than just showing up, especially in peak months like July and August when holiday traffic from London, Manchester, and Madrid spikes. Build in 10–15 extra minutes before check-in time for the walk from your bay to T1 and for paying at the machines on the way out.
