Remote parking

10–15 minutes by shuttle from T1/T2, P8 is the remote lot

P8 sits on the outer ring of Marseille Provence Airport, set up as a remote car park serving both T1 and T2. It’s an uncovered surface lot, so your car stays outdoors the whole time. This one suits trips where your car stays several days or longer, rather than a quick overnight. You park yourself, lock up, and head to the shuttle stop rather than handing keys to anyone.

The P8 shuttle runs to the terminals in roughly 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic around MRS. Allow extra time at busy morning banks for flights leaving between 06:00 and 09:00. Buses drop at the main terminal area used by T1 and T2, so you still have a short walk to your exact check-in zone. Shuttles are typically included in the parking price, so there’s no separate ticket to buy from the driver.

P8 is usually priced below the closer airport car parks, making it the budget end of official on-airport parking. Prepaid online deals for multi-day or week-long stays often undercut drive-up rates by a noticeable margin. If you’re leaving the car for 5–7 days or more, P8 often works out cheaper per day than short-stay options closer to T1 and T2. Payment uses the standard airport system: entry ticket at the barrier, pay at a machine, then exit.

Lighting columns are spread through P8, but it still feels like a large open field at night, so note your row number when you park. The shuttle stop is clearly marked, yet it’s worth checking the timetable posted at the shelter so you’re not guessing late in the evening. Practical tip: on departure day, add 30–40 minutes to your usual airport arrival time to cover the shuttle ride and walking time from the drop-off point to your T1 or T2 check-in area.
