2–3 minutes on foot from Terminal 1’s doors
P2 sits directly opposite Terminal 1 at Marseille Provence Airport, signed as the short-stay option for T1 departures and arrivals. It’s a surfaced, open-air car park, so no height restrictions for vans or SUVs beyond the standard entry bar. If you’re dropping someone for an Air France, Ryanair, or other T1 flight, this is the closest short-stay lot that doesn’t require a shuttle.
Pricing is set up for quick turnarounds: P2 is charged by the hour, with a higher daily cap than the long‑stay parks like P8 or P9. It suits pickups, drop-offs, and same‑day business trips, not week-long holidays. If your stay starts creeping past 24 hours, the math usually swings in favour of the more remote long‑stay options around the airport ring road.
P2 is inside the main terminal road loop, so you enter via the same access roads used for T1 departures and follow signs for “P2 Court Séjour.” It’s post-barrier but obviously pre-security; you still go through standard screening in the terminal. Walking time is roughly 2–3 minutes to the T1 check‑in hall, even with a roll‑aboard and laptop bag.
Payment runs through the usual Marseille Provence setup: take a ticket at the barrier for drive‑up use, then pay at the automatic machines or exit gate when you leave. The machines accept cards and coins, and there are several placed along pedestrian exits near the T1 side, so you don’t have to double back once you’re loaded up. Keep the ticket handy; losing it triggers the maximum daily fee.
Tip: For anything over roughly 48 hours, price out P6, P8, or P9 before you commit to P2; the per‑day difference adds up fast on longer trips.
