P3 is the main covered car park beside Terminal 1
P3 sits directly next to Marseille Provence Terminal 1 (T1), so you walk to check-in in roughly 3–6 minutes depending on your airline counter. It’s a multi-storey, fully covered car park, good if you want the car out of the Provençal sun or winter rain. Height limits apply in the covered levels, so double-check your vehicle’s height before booking if you drive an SUV with a roof box.
This car park typically supports medium- and long-stay trips, from a single day up to several weeks. Online prebooking is usually cheaper than drive-up rates, especially in July–August and around school holidays. If you’re parking for more than 3–4 days, P3 often prices better than the closest premium options at T1 while still keeping the walk short. Keep your booking confirmation handy at the entry barrier; barcode scanners here sometimes need a second try.
P3 is inside the airport’s main road loop, so drop-off and pick-up are straightforward once you follow signs for “P3 Couvert / Covered” from the D20 access road. The walk to T1 departures is step-free with lifts from each parking level, useful if you’re hauling two 23 kg checked bags or a stroller. Terminal 2 (T2) is reachable on foot as well, but allow closer to 8–10 minutes from your space to the low-cost check-in area.
Security patrols and cameras cover the car park, and lighting on each level stays on through the night; late arrivals on flights landing after 23:00 still have clear visibility to find their car. Payment machines take major cards and contactless, but the odd machine rejects foreign cards, so keep at least one backup card available. If you’re returning on a busy Sunday evening, pay at a terminal inside P3 before driving out to avoid queues at the exit barrier.
Tip: aim for a space on the level that lines up with your airline’s check-in area at T1, so your walk with bags stays mostly flat rather than up and down ramps.
