P7

Long-stay budget

10-minute shuttle ride from terminals to budget long-stay P7

P7 is Marseille Provence Airport’s cheapest long-stay option, set up as a budget car park for trips running several days or more. It’s a surface lot, not a covered garage, so your car sits outdoors the entire time. The key tradeoff is price vs. proximity: you pay less than closer long-stay car parks like P6, but factor in the shuttle transfer.

The P7 shuttle connects to both T1 and T2 in about 10 minutes, with buses typically running every few minutes during core flight banks. Add that transfer into your timing on both departure and return. With luggage and kids, plan to park at least 30–40 minutes before check-in cutoff, as you still need to unload, wait for the shuttle, and clear security in T1 or T2.

P7 works best for trips of 3+ days where daily cost matters more than being able to walk to the terminal. It’s a basic, open-air long-stay lot with marked spaces and standard airport lighting, not much more. You won’t find EV chargers or premium services here; think “leave the car, lock it, bus to terminal” and that’s it. Payment usually ties to your booking and license plate or a QR code at entry and exit.

The main upside is pricing that undercuts most on-airport short-stay and mid-stay options for the same number of days. You stay on airport property, which many people prefer over off-airport operators several kilometers away. No published height restriction beyond normal open-air limits means it’s fine for taller vehicles like SUVs that might struggle with low garages closer to T1.

Practical tip: Screenshot your P7 booking with the exact “P7” label and keep it in your photos; the airport has multiple “P” zones, and that extra second of checking avoids driving into the wrong long-stay entrance when you’re watching the clock.
