P5

Economy long-stay

Daily rates at P5 usually undercut the terminal garages by a lot.

P5 is Marseille Provence Airport’s economy long-stay car park, set up for trips where you’re gone more than a couple of days from T1 or T2. It sits farther from the terminals than the premium lots, but the pricing reflects that, and it’s one of the cheaper ways to leave a car on-site at MRS for a week or more.

This is an official airport car park within the Marseille Provence complex, so you stay on airport roads the whole time and don’t mess with off-site shuttles. Signage for “P5 Longue Durée” appears on the approach roads toward T1 and T2; follow those instead of the P1–P4 signs if you care more about price than walking distance.

P5 is set up as open-air surface parking, not a covered garage, which matters in summer heat on the Provence coast. Stays of several days or longer are standard here, and pre-booking online through the airport often locks in lower per-day pricing than just rolling up to the barrier at MRS.

The walk from P5 to T1 or T2 is longer than from the close-in car parks, so build at least an extra 10–15 minutes into your timing on top of normal Marseille security lines. If you’re wrangling big checked bags for an early morning departure, consider dropping passengers and luggage at T1 or T2 first, then looping back alone to park in P5.

Tip: Screenshot your P5 booking QR code before you drive, so you’re not hunting for airport Wi‑Fi at the entry or payment machines when you arrive or return to Marseille Provence Airport.
