Salón Premier Aeroméxico

T2 Open · 04:00-23:00 showers

By 07:30, the main T2 Salón Premier is already full

This is Aeroméxico’s primary Salón Premier in Terminal T2, open daily from 04:00 to 23:00 and taking both SkyTeam elites and Priority Pass. Regulars treat it like a quick refuel stop between flights, not an all-day hang, because seats go fast and the noise level feels close to a busy gate area once the morning bank hits.

The lounge sits airside in T2 after security, a short walk from many Aeroméxico departure gates, and staff will often manage a wait list at peak times. Entry works with SkyTeam status, premium cabin boarding passes, or Priority Pass, but capacity controls can kick in during the 06:00–10:00 and evening waves, so build in at least 10–15 extra minutes if you’re counting on getting in.

Food runs to standard hot items and snacks that rotate through the day, with basics like eggs and bread in the morning and simple warm dishes later; think fuel, not dining destination, and plan to eat properly in T2 if you care about a specific cuisine. Drinks are self-serve with beer, wine, and liquor available at the counters, and coffee machines keep up decently once the first bank of flights clears around 09:30.

There are showers on-site, but one review mentioned a long shower wait list and being turned away close to boarding time, so ask about the list at check-in if you need to clean up after an overnight or long-haul. The same report flagged a spa area inside the lounge that is pay-per-use when operating and was completely closed during that visit, so don’t count on a massage as part of your access.

Wifi is free and usually quicker than the general T2 network, and power outlets line many of the seating areas, but once the lounge hits standing-room-only, finding both a seat and a plug can take more than 5 minutes of walking loops. One visitor reported a restroom that “smelled like a sewer,” while another said it was spotless on a later date, which points to hit-or-miss maintenance rather than a consistent standard.

Regulars in T2 know there are two Aeroméxico lounges that both accept Priority Pass, so they peek into this main Salón Premier first and then walk over to the second lounge if the crowd looks intense. Smart move: on arrival into MEX T2, stop by the desk here immediately, check the shower list, then decide within 2 minutes whether to stay or switch lounges before you sit down.
