$99 per day puts Premium Valet at the top of MEL’s price list
This is Melbourne Airport’s closest car option, with the Premium Valet car drop right next to the terminal precinct for T1–T4. You pull up, hand over the keys, and walk straight toward check-in in a couple of minutes, with no shuttle and no hunting for a bay in a multilevel structure.
Pricing is simple: $99 per day, making it one of the most expensive ways to park at MEL compared with long-term and self-park. In return you skip the 10–15 minute walk or bus ride you’d have from the cheaper outer lots. It’s a classic time-versus-money trade: worth it if you value those extra minutes at the gate or at home.
Premium Valet operates every day in line with flight schedules, covering early-morning departures and late-night arrivals across T1 domestic, T2 international, T3, and T4. You drive to the signed Premium Valet point near the terminal entries, staff take the car to a secured area, and you walk off with just your bags and boarding pass.
There’s no need to factor in shuttle timings, so you can realistically aim to arrive at the valet area 90 minutes before a domestic flight in T1 or T3, or around 2–3 hours before an international departure in T2, depending on your airline’s check-in rules. That’s tighter than you’d risk if you were parking in an off-airport lot.
Tip: pre-book Premium Valet for busy school-holiday peaks and major event weekends in Melbourne; drive-up space next to the terminals can fill fast and walk-up prices at $99 per day sting even more if you’re stuck improvising a backup option at the last minute.
