2–5 minute walk to T1, T2 and T3
The Business Car Park sits directly opposite Melbourne Airport’s T1, T2 and T3, so you’re on the terminal forecourt in roughly 2–5 minutes on foot. It’s a premium covered option, so the car stays under cover from the moment you pull into the multi-level structure until you leave.
This car park suits Qantas domestic in T1 and international in T2 especially, because you skip shuttles and head straight across the road. Entry is via the dedicated Business Car Park access road off Airport Drive, separate from the long-term open-air lots that sit further from the terminals.
Pricing runs higher than the Long Term and Value options, with drive-up rates often pushing into three figures for multi-day trips, so pre-booking online usually knocks a noticeable amount off the total. The car park charges per calendar day, not per hour once you cross the day threshold, so a 26–30 hour stay often costs the same as a full 48.
Spaces are all under-cover on multiple levels, so the car avoids Melbourne’s summer sun and winter rain while you’re away. Height clearance is fixed at standard multi-storey levels, so tall vans and roof-box setups can be an issue; check your vehicle height in metres against the published clearance on the entry gantry before committing to the ramp.
The Business Car Park sits closest to T1–T3, not T4, so Jetstar and Rex passengers in T4 can expect around 8–10 minutes of walking, including the covered walkway section between precincts. If mobility is a concern, factor in the extra few hundred metres or consider drop-off at the T4 forecourt before heading back to park.
Tip: Take a photo of your level and row number on your phone as soon as you park; after a 7–10 day trip the uniform grey levels all look the same when you roll your bags back in from T1.
