Underground Garage

Covered

3-minute indoor walk from car to terminals

The Underground Garage sits directly under Hangzhou Xiaoshan’s Ground Transportation Center, spanning levels B1 to B4 beneath the GTC. From your parking bay, elevators take you straight up to the terminal drop-off level for T1–T4, so you stay indoors the whole way. The covered structure shields you from Hangzhou’s summer rain and winter cold the moment you step out of the car.

Drive-in access comes off Airport Road 1 via the left ground road, which locals mention but English signs barely highlight. Miss that left-hand turn and you’ll likely have to loop back along Airport Road 1 before you can re-enter. If you’re using a Chinese map app, search for the Ground Transportation Center, not just “parking,” to avoid getting routed to open-air surface lots.

The walk from elevator to check-in counters runs about 3 minutes at normal pace, even for T3 or T4, because the GTC sits between the terminal blocks. Elevators from B1–B4 open into the same concourse level used by taxis and ride-hailing pickups, so there’s no extra level change or outdoor ramp to deal with while handling large suitcases or strollers.

Prices follow HGH’s standard airport tariff for on-site parking; you’re paying a premium over remote surface lots in exchange for covered space and direct terminal access. If you’re parking for several days, that B1–B4 structure still undercuts the time and hassle of shuttle-based off-airport options, especially on early-morning departures from T2 or late-night arrivals into T4.

Practical tip: as you approach on Airport Road 1, move into the left lane at least 300–400 meters before the GTC and watch for signs pointing to the “Traffic Center” or underground parking, then take a photo of your level (B1, B2, B3, or B4) before heading to the elevator.
