Gate-side tech stop in Terminal 1

Just past security in Terminal 1, the Electronics Store runs daily from 08:00 to 20:00, covering most morning and evening departures at Taipei Songshan (TSA). It’s your last chance inside T1 to grab basic tech before boarding, so don’t expect a huge showroom, but you can usually fix small gear problems without leaving the gate area.

This shop focuses on practical electronics for travelers, not big-ticket items. Think phone chargers, Type-C cables, power banks, travel adapters for Taiwan’s 110V sockets, and simple headphones rather than premium audio gear. Prices sit above downtown Taipei, as usual for airport retail, but still reasonable enough that replacing a cable or plug here is cheaper than going gadget-free on a 3-hour hop.

Selection shifts a bit by season, but you’ll almost always find lightning and USB-C cables, plus at least a couple of branded power banks in the mid-range capacity (around 10,000–20,000mAh). Skip buying larger items like tablets or cameras here and do that in the city; TSA’s Terminal 1 store doesn’t carry deep model lines or many colours, and staff tend to focus on quick-turn items at the counter.

One practical tip: check your charging setup while you’re still at the check‑in row in Terminal 1. If you realise you left a cable or adapter at home, swing by this Electronics Store on the way to security instead of waiting until you’re already at the boarding gate.
