7-Eleven in T2 stays open 24 hours by the station exit
This Convenience Store in Terminal 2 is essentially a 7-Eleven right by the train station side of TSA, and it runs 24 hours a day. It’s inside the terminal area, so you can grab something before or after a late‑night or early‑morning flight without hunting outside. If your hotel shuttle drops you at T2, this is usually the first real food and drink option you’ll see that never closes.
Being a standard Taiwan 7-Eleven, prices track city street prices, not inflated airport levels. Expect bottled drinks in the NT$25–40 range, onigiri and simple rice balls around NT$30–40, and instant noodles under NT$60. You can also pick up basic toiletries, phone cables, and snack multipacks, handy if you land late into Terminal 2 and everything else in the public hall is already shut.
The store’s 24-hour schedule matters at Songshan because many cafés in Terminal 2 close by around 21:00–22:00. If you’re catching the first flights out of TSA in the 06:00–07:00 window, this is one of the few places where you can reliably get hot coffee and something filling. It’s also useful if you come off the last MRT or train and still need water or a SIM top-up before heading into town.
Practical tip: if you’re in Terminal 1 and craving 7-Eleven standards, factor in about 5–10 minutes to walk over to Terminal 2 and the station exit; stock up here once so you don’t have to rely on pricier gate‑side snacks later.
