Gate-side caffeine fix in Terminal 2

This Starbucks sits airside in Terminal 2 at Juanda International Airport, an easy stop once you clear security for domestic or international flights. It runs typical airport pricing, so expect drinks to land higher than downtown Surabaya, with a latte often in the IDR 40,000–60,000 range depending on size and extras.

Standard Starbucks menu applies here: espresso drinks, drip coffee, Frappuccino-style blends, and a small pastry case with things like croissants and muffins. The espresso drinks come in the usual tall, grande, and venti sizes, and staff generally keep orders moving fast during the early-morning bank of flights out of Terminal 2.

Food is grab-and-go: packaged sandwiches, simple bakery items, and snack bars you can carry to your gate. Portion sizes track the global Starbucks template, so a sandwich here is enough for a light meal but not a full dinner before a long-haul connection through another airport like CGK or SIN.

Seating is limited and often spills into the general Terminal 2 gate area, so plan to carry your drink back to your boarding zone near the screens if it looks crowded. Power outlets can be scarce directly around the store, and most people end up charging at shared columns closer to specific gates in T2.

Mobile ordering isn’t reliably supported here the way it might be in larger Indonesian city stores, so allow 10–15 minutes in the queue during morning departures or late-evening flights out of Terminal 2. If your boarding pass shows a tight 30-minute window to departure, grab a basic hot or iced coffee instead of a multi-step custom drink to avoid cutting it close.

Tip: Order your drink with less ice and a lid you can close; that makes it easier to carry through Terminal 2’s sometimes crowded boarding lanes without spillage.
