Near Gate info in Terminal 2, Ria Resto is your main sit-down option

Ria Resto sits airside in Terminal 2 at Juanda International Airport (SUB), serving Indonesian standards to passengers on domestic and international flights. It’s one of the few proper restaurant-style spots in T2, not just a quick snack counter. Expect simple tables, bright lighting, and a short printed menu rather than a big chain setup.

Most mains land in the IDR 40,000–80,000 range, with rice and noodle dishes usually at the lower end of that band. You’ll see staples like nasi goreng, mie goreng, chicken with rice, and a few fried snacks. Portions run medium by Surabaya street-food standards but fine for an airport meal. Payment typically works with cash or local cards; some reports mention cards can be hit-or-miss, so carry at least IDR 100,000 in cash per person.

Terminal 2 handles carriers like Citilink and some international operators, and Ria Resto mainly pulls its traffic from passengers on those flights. Service pace can stretch to 20–30 minutes for cooked dishes when multiple flights depart in the same 60–90 minute window, so don’t cut it close to a boarding time printed as T-30. If your flight boards from a nearby gate, you can usually see the gate area from the corridor just outside the restaurant.

Local-style fried rice or noodles usually land safer than anything described as “Western” on the menu. Indonesian dishes use familiar chili and soy flavors common in East Java, and staff can adjust spice level if you ask clearly in Bahasa Indonesia (“tidak pedas” for not spicy). Drinks run from bottled water around IDR 10,000–15,000 up to simple iced tea or coffee a bit higher.

The practical move: eat here before heading to a remote end gate in Terminal 2, because once you walk down some of those long corridors, you may only find smaller kiosks with snacks and instant noodles rather than a full meal.
