Gate RT-02-06 in T1 is where you’ll spot Bogajaya

Right by gate RT-02-06 in Terminal 1, Bogajaya is a small retail counter that sells packaged snacks and drinks you can throw straight into your carry-on. It sits post-security, so you only see it after clearing checks for domestic departures at Juanda (SUB). Think grab-and-go, not a sit-down meal.

Hours match airport operational times, so if flights are going, Bogajaya is usually open. That helps for early-morning departures out of Terminal 1, when some other food options are still closed. You won’t find barista coffee gear or hot plates here; this is shelves, fridges, and a cashier.

Expect packaged food: chips, biscuits, instant noodles, candy, and bottled drinks, typically priced a bit higher than in Surabaya city minimarkets, but still manageable for airport standards. If you want something simple for a sub-2‑hour domestic hop, grab a snack pack and a 600 ml water to avoid relying on onboard sales.

Because the stand sits inside Terminal 1’s secure area, you can buy drinks up to boarding time for flights leaving nearby gates, including those in the same RT-02 zone. If you’re flying out of a gate further down the pier, factor in a 5–10 minute walk and pay here before you head to the waiting area.

There’s no seating and no toilets at Bogajaya itself; use the terminal restrooms about 50–100 meters away before you queue to pay. Bags here are all sealed retail packaging, so they pack easily into a backpack or under-seat personal item without leaking or crumbling everywhere.

Tip: buy your water and snacks at Bogajaya right after security in Terminal 1, then head straight to gate RT-02-06 so you’re not stuck in a boarding line without supplies.
