Terminal 1 Parking Area

Short stay

First 15 minutes are free at Terminal 1 Parking Area

Terminal 1 Parking Area sits directly in front of Juanda T1, so you can walk to the check-in counters in about 2–3 minutes. It’s set up as short-stay parking, best for drop-offs, pick-ups, or quick trips of under 24 hours. You enter via the main access road to Terminal 1, follow the "Parkir T1" signs, then take a ticket at the barrier gate.

This is an open-air surface lot with marked bays for cars, and a separate lane for quick drop-off right by the Terminal 1 entrance doors. Because it’s short stay, you pay by the hour, with pricing stepping up after the first couple of hours; it’s usually cheapest if you keep it under 6–8 hours. Payment is at automated machines or a manned booth near the pedestrian exit toward the terminal.

Parking here keeps you on the correct side of the airport for all Terminal 1 departures and arrivals; if your flight uses Terminal 2, you need to transfer by car or airport shuttle to T2, which is a few minutes’ drive away. There’s lighting throughout the lot at night and basic CCTV coverage, but no covered parking bays, so your car sits in full sun during the day.

Expect the Terminal 1 Parking Area to fill faster in peak times around 05:00–07:00 and 16:00–19:00 when domestic flights bank in and out. Lines at the exit gates can add 5–10 minutes to your getaway in those windows. One simple move: take a photo of the nearest zone marker or pole number when you park so you don’t spend 10 minutes hunting the car after landing.
