Electronics Shop

T2

Next to the T2 gates, Electronics Shop covers last‑minute tech

This small Electronics Shop in Terminal T2 sits airside, past security, so you can grab chargers or headphones after passport control. It mainly stocks travel basics: phone cables, universal adapters, small Bluetooth speakers, and power banks that meet EU cabin size rules. Prices run higher than downtown Sofia, but still reasonable for an airport, especially on generic cables and USB plugs.

Opening hours generally track T2’s schedule, with the shop open from early-morning departures around 05:00 through the late-night bank of flights. If your flight leaves after 23:00, don’t assume it’s open and buy ahead in the city. Card payments in BGN and major foreign cards work; cash in leva is accepted, but they won’t change larger foreign notes.

Stock leans toward big phone brands you’ll see in Bulgaria: Samsung, Apple-compatible accessories, and some budget Android gear. Expect basic wired earbuds around the price of an airport sandwich and mid-range Bluetooth headphones closer to a sit-down meal in central Sofia. You won’t find high-end cameras or laptops here, just small items that fit in hand luggage.

Selection changes with season, but there’s usually at least one dual USB-C/USB-A car charger and a few EU plug adapters on the rack. If you need multiple adapters for family or coworkers, buy in town; here you’re paying for speed, not bulk. Tip: if your cable still half-works, use the free airport sockets near the T2 gates to test it before you spend on a replacement.
