Long-stay rates without leaving the airport property
P3 Economy Parking sits on-airport at Thessaloniki SKG and is marked as the long-stay option in the official parking maps. It’s part of the airport-run system that SKG markets as “fast” and “affordable,” so pricing undercuts the short-stay lots closer to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. If you need to leave your car for several days or a week, this is the budget play that still keeps you inside the airport perimeter.
The airport makes one point very clear: stopping on the arrivals or departures curbs is prohibited, so P3 acts as the legal fallback when pickup or drop-off runs longer than a quick unload. Instead of circling the terminal roads, pull straight into P3, lock up, and walk or shuttle toward the terminal area for flights out of Terminals 1 and 2. You avoid curbside stress and the risk of a ticket while still using airport-operated parking, not an off-site field.
P3 is set up as long-stay “economy,” so expect lower daily rates than the closer premium lots and a layout geared toward leaving the car rather than quick in-and-out. Because it’s on airport grounds, you skip the extra 10–20 minutes that third-party off-airport lots often add via shuttle runs back to SKG. Payment follows the standard SKG parking process at entry and exit, aligned with the rest of the official lots.
Tip: if someone’s flight is delayed and curbside waiting is tempting, park in P3 instead and wait there; it keeps you legal and already parked if the delay stretches past 15–20 minutes.
