Minibus

Minibuses run between PRG and city center in about 30 minutes

Private Shuttle CEDAZ runs fixed-route minibuses from Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) to central Prague in roughly 25–35 minutes, depending on traffic on Evropská. It operates from both T1 and T2, so you don’t need to switch terminals after landing. This is a shared minibus, not a private car, so expect a few stops when dropping people off in town.

Pick-up points sit just outside the arrivals halls at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, on the public side of the building, a short 2–4 minute walk from baggage claim. Look for CEDAZ branding near the curb where other shuttles and tour coaches line up. If you’re changing from a Schengen flight in T2 to the shuttle, you stay landside the whole time after customs.

Tickets usually price in the mid-range between the AE Airport Express bus and a full taxi, so budget roughly 150–250 CZK per person depending on route and current tariff. You can normally pay in Czech crowns and often by card, but it’s safer to have at least 200 CZK in cash in case the terminal glitches. Kids under a certain age sometimes ride at reduced fare, so ask before you pay if you’re traveling with children.

Shuttles run multiple times per hour during core daytime hours, with gaps getting longer after about 20:00 and fewer departures close to midnight. The schedule can shift seasonally, so check the latest timetable for your exact date rather than relying on a screenshot from six months ago. If your flight lands after 23:00, have a backup option like a taxi or rideshare in case the last CEDAZ run has already left.

CEDAZ minibuses carry small luggage in the cabin and larger bags in the rear, so a standard suitcase up to around 23 kg plus a cabin bag is usually fine. If you’re rolling in with three 32 kg checked bags per person or bulky items like skis over 180 cm, confirm capacity beforehand. The driver loads luggage, but you still want your name tag on every piece in case something shifts during city-center drop-offs.

Fastest move: buy your ticket, head straight to the next departure, and sit near the door if your hotel is likely to be one of the last stops so you can get out quickly once you hit central Prague.
