Pickup at T1 is on the Departures level in front of Door 6, while at T2 drivers typically meet you by the Departures curb near Door 2; the app pins the exact point once you share your terminal. A standard Bolt ride from PRG to Prague city center often lands in the 350–500 CZK range, depending on time of day and traffic.
Payment runs through the app by card or Apple Pay / Google Pay, so you do not need Czech cash for the airport–city trip, and receipts in CZK show in your Bolt ride history within a few minutes. You can also enter your airline and flight number in the app so the driver sees your arrival time at T1 or T2.
Wait times outside peak Monday–Friday rush (07:30–09:30 and 16:30–18:30) often stay under 5–10 minutes, with more cars idling near the airport front road. In heavier traffic around Evropská street, the same T1–city ride can push toward 40–45 minutes and add around 50–100 CZK in time-based charges.
Compared with the official AAA airport taxis advertised near Arrivals at PRG, Bolt usually prices out 20–30% cheaper on the T1/T2 to Prague 1 run, especially during off-peak hours. The app also lets you pick different categories, so you can choose a larger car if you have 3–4 big checked bags from a long-haul flight.
For late arrivals after 23:00, when the Airport Express bus to hlavní nádraží stops running, Bolt is one of the few options still running continuously from both terminals. To avoid wandering outside with luggage, request the car once you pass customs in T1 or T2 so it arrives as you reach the curb.
Practical tip: Screenshot or save your T1 or T2 pickup door number (e.g., Door 6, Departures) and send it in chat to the driver; this usually cuts the pickup dance down to under 2–3 minutes.
