Most hotel shuttles pick up outside Arrivals at T1 and T2

Hotel Shuttle Buses at Václav Havel Airport Prague run point-to-point between T1/T2 and specific hotels, usually for guests with confirmed reservations. Pick-up points sit just outside the main Arrivals halls of both T1 and T2, in the marked “Hotel Shuttle” or “Shuttle/Bus” bays on the curb. Rides commonly take 15–30 minutes into central Prague, depending on traffic on the D7 and Evropská roads.

Many Prague hotels operate their own shuttles on a prebooked basis, often tied to room reservations or packaged at a fixed fee like 25–40 EUR per vehicle. Some larger chains near the airport offer complimentary shuttles that loop every 20–30 minutes during daytime hours, then switch to on-call service after 22:00. Always confirm the exact pick-up terminal (T1 vs T2), as some drivers only circle the one where most of their guests arrive.

Operating hours vary by hotel, but a common pattern runs from roughly 06:00 to 23:00, with reduced or by-request service overnight. If you land after 23:00 at T1 on a delayed flight, expect to call the hotel or use WhatsApp to trigger a pick-up. For early departures before 06:00 from T2, many properties near the airport arrange a specific shuttle slot tied to your flight time rather than a rolling schedule.

Prices differ widely: central city hotels might quote 700–1,000 CZK per ride from PRG, while airport-area hotels often include the shuttle cost in the room rate. Payment methods range from card machines in some vans to room-charge-only in others. Ask in advance if child seats are available, and if there’s a per-person surcharge beyond 3–4 passengers, since a few Prague shuttles cap standard pricing at four seats.

Using the shuttle on arrival usually means waiting 5–20 minutes outside Arrivals once you text or call the driver from T1 or T2. In winter, that matters at –5 °C and wind on the curb. Departing from the hotel, drivers typically target a 2-hour lead time for flights inside Schengen and 2.5–3 hours for non-Schengen departures from T1 or T2, matching the airport’s own check-in windows.

Practical tip: when you book the room, send your flight number and arrival terminal to the hotel by email and ask for the exact meeting point sign (column number or bay letter) at T1 or T2 so you’re not wandering the curb with luggage.
