Bus 18 min

18 minutes from PRG to Zličín on bus Line 100

Line 100 runs between Václav Havel Airport Prague and metro station Zličín in about 18 minutes, making it one of the fastest ways from T1/T2 into the city’s metro network (Line B). Buses stop at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in the public arrivals area, outside the terminal doors marked for buses.

The bus runs as a standard DPP city bus with regular PID tickets valid across Prague zones, so there’s no premium airport surcharge. A standard 90-minute ticket currently covers the whole ride airport–Zličín and onward metro, and you can buy it from the yellow PID ticket machines in the arrivals halls of T1 and T2 or directly at the bus stop before boarding.

Line 100 operates daily with headways that typically sit around 15–20 minutes during the day; late evenings and early mornings may stretch closer to 30 minutes. The stop for Line 100 is marked "Bus 100 Zličín" on airport signage; follow the icons for public buses (not taxis or shared shuttles) from baggage claim in T1 or T2.

Seats on Line 100 are standard city-bus seats with space at the doors for a couple of 23 kg checked bags or carry-ons; this is not a dedicated coach with underfloor luggage bays. The ride to Zličín is mostly on express sections of road, so the quoted 18 minutes is realistic outside heavy rush-hour traffic.

Step-by-step: using Line 100 from PRG

  • 1. After collecting bags in T1 or T2, follow signs to "Public transport" in arrivals.
  • 2. Use a yellow PID ticket machine in the arrivals hall to buy at least a 90-minute ticket, or buy at the machine by the Line 100 stop.
  • 3. Walk outside to the bus bays signed for "Bus 100 Zličín" at your terminal.
  • 4. When the bus arrives, board through the nearest door and immediately validate your paper ticket in the yellow validator; contactless tickets bought by card validate automatically at purchase.
  • 5. Keep bags in the open floor area near the doors so aisles stay clear during the 18-minute run to Zličín.
  • 6. Get off at the final stop "Zličín" and follow signs down to metro Line B for the ride toward Anděl, Národní třída, Můstek, or beyond.

One tip: if you land late, check the PID timetable for the last Line 100 departure and have taxi or rideshare as a backup from T1 or T2 ranks.
