Two-minute walk from the NAS terminals, no shuttle anywhere in sight

Short-Term Parking at Lynden Pindling (NAS) sits directly in front of the A, B, and C terminal complex, with a walk that regulars peg at about 2 minutes from car to check-in. A FlyerTalk poster joked that with checked bags, your car is roughly 100 feet from the doors, and that lines up with how compact the front lots are here.

This is the short-stay option on airport grounds, used for pickups, drop-offs, and overnights up to a few days, with a posted daily rate of $20.45. The layout is simple: pull into the main entrance, follow signs for Short-Term, and you’re basically across the roadway from the terminal. No zones to memorize, no shuttle stops to track.

On peak days, especially around Christmas, Easter, and busy Saturdays, the Short-Term lot and its neighbors can go functionally full for hours. The airport’s own Facebook advisory told drivers to add an extra hour because spaces might only appear as other travelers depart, and local commenters reported circling and idling near the terminal with “no parking anywhere.”

Frequent NAS flyers on FlyerTalk and Reddit say the main upside here is zero transfer time: you park, walk straight over the roadway, and you’re at terminal A, B, or C in a couple of minutes. The flip side is there’s no backup on-airport shuttle lot to bail you out if Short-Term fills; the entire public footprint in front of the terminal is small.

Regulars with morning flights out of NAS often skip driving on holiday Saturdays, leaning on taxis or hotel shuttles instead so they don’t burn time hunting for a bay. Others who do drive just park in the first legal space they see in Short-Term or the adjacent sections, since there’s no meaningful time savings to chasing a “closer” row.

Practical tip: on busy holidays, aim to arrive at least 60 minutes earlier than usual if you plan to use Short-Term Parking at $20.45 per day, and have a taxi backup in mind in case the front lots are hard full.
