Gate-side sandwiches at Bocadeli in T1

Bocadeli sits airside in Terminal T1 at José María Córdova (MDE), in the main departures area after security. It runs through typical flight banks, opening early in the morning for 06:00 departures and staying open into the late evening rush around 22:00. Think quick snack before a domestic LATAM or Avianca hop, not a long sit-down meal.

You’ll see standard grab-and-go sandwiches, pastries, and packaged snacks, with coffee and soft drinks priced in the mid-airport range (expect around COP 12,000–18,000 for a pastry and COP 8,000–10,000 for water). Hot items rotate a bit, but cold sandwiches and pastries are the safe bet if your boarding starts in under 20 minutes. Card payment is normal here, and prices are clearly marked at the counter.

Seating is limited around Bocadeli, so most people just buy and head back toward the nearby gates in T1. If you have a longer layover over 45 minutes, you’re usually better off eating at a fuller restaurant elsewhere in the terminal and using Bocadeli for a top-up snack or a last coffee. Expect standard airport quality, on par with other MDE quick-service spots.

Tip: lines build around the morning 07:00–09:00 departure push, so if you see a gap right after security in T1, grab your coffee and sandwich at Bocadeli before you walk down to your gate.
