This is the main long-stay lot right next to the T1 terminal at José María Córdova International Airport. It’s officially signed as Parqueadero Público, and you’re about a 5-minute walk from the check-in counters once you lock the car. It sits directly beside the terminal access road, so you’re not dealing with shuttles or off-airport vans.

Pricing is simple: the posted daily rate is around $30.600 COP per day, which lines up with on-airport long-stay prices in Colombia. Shorter stays typically meter up to that daily cap, but this lot mainly makes sense if you’re gone at least overnight. Payment is at the exit booths and machines near the pedestrian path back to T1, so keep a few extra minutes in your schedule to pay before you drive out.

Walk time from the far end of the lot to the T1 entrance averages about 5 minutes at a normal pace. The path is flat and curb-free, so rolling standard suitcases is easy. Signage points you toward “Terminal de Pasajeros” with arrows every 30–40 meters, and you’re under cover only once you reach the terminal canopies.

This is a surface lot, parked in rows, and it fills fastest on Friday evenings and Sunday nights when domestic and regional flights peak at MDE. Security patrols focus on the areas closest to the terminal road, and lighting is strongest near the pedestrian exit closest to T1. If you care where you park, arrive at least 60–90 minutes before your flight to pick a spot you like.

Tip: snap a photo of your row marker or a nearby sign before you walk the 5 minutes to T1; the lot is large enough that hunting for your car after a late-night arrival gets old fast.
