5-minute walk from T2/T3 departures, P4 is the close-in pick
P4 General Parking sits directly by T2 and T3 at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, marked as a short-stay option for those flights. You park in a multi-storey structure, then walk roughly 3–5 minutes to the T2 and T3 check-in areas, with covered pedestrian access most of the way. This is one of the closest public car parks to the Schengen terminals.
This is a short-stay car park, so pricing works best for anything from a few hours up to a couple of days. It’s geared to T1–T3 users, but the walk to T1 usually runs about 8–10 minutes if you follow the signed paths from the P4 exits. Drivers heading to T4 or T4S should skip P4 and use the T4-specific parking instead, or plan on an inter-terminal shuttle.
P4 General Parking is inside the airport ring road, so you avoid the longer shuttle legs needed from off-site lots that can add 10–20 minutes each way. Entry and exit use standard ticket barriers with payment at machines before you drive out, and spaces are sized for European sedans and small SUVs rather than oversized vans. Height limits apply in the multi-level structure, so check your vehicle’s height before committing to the ramp.
Short-stay means higher day rates than long-stay P1 or distant lots, but you trade that for the 3–5 minute walk to security at T2 and T3. There’s usually more turnover near the lower levels, so if you want a faster exit, don’t drive all the way up unless the boards show full. For the easiest airport escape, park near a stairwell facing the terminal you’re flying from and snap a quick photo of your level number.
