Express Parking T4

Kiss and fly

90 minutes free right outside T4 departures

Express Parking T4 sits directly in front of the Terminal T4 departures area at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, built for quick drop-offs and short stops. It works as a classic kiss-and-fly: pull in, stop close to the terminal doors, say goodbye, and drive out again without heading into the long‑stay car parks.

You get up to 15–30 minutes for very fast drop-offs, but the main draw is the extended free period of up to 90 minutes, which makes it useful if you want to escort someone to check‑in inside T4. After the free time runs out, hourly charges kick in and ramp up quickly, so treat this as short‑stay only, not an overnight option.

This car park only serves T4, not T1, T2, T3, or T4S, which means it works best if your flight departs from the Iberia and oneworld hub in T4. If your traveler connects onward via T4S, you still drop them here at T4, as all passengers reach the satellite through the underground train after security anyway.

Access uses the main T4 access road, and the entry barrier reads your number plate automatically as you approach. Lanes are tight near the terminal curb, and traffic can stack up around common bank times like 06:00–08:00 and 19:00–21:00, so give yourself an extra 10 minutes if you are dropping someone right before check‑in closes.

There is no dedicated security screening at Express Parking T4, just standard airport CCTV and patrols, which is fine for under 90 minutes but not a substitute for the official long‑stay car parks. Use the T4 multi‑storey if you plan to leave the car for more than 3–4 hours.

Tip: Tell your passenger to be at the curb and ready before you enter; that keeps you under the 15–30 minute mark and avoids rolling into the paid period after the 90‑minute free window.
