P2 General Parking

Short-stay

3–5 minute walk from T2/T3 check-in

P2 General Parking sits directly in front of Madrid–Barajas T2 and T3, so you walk to the terminal in roughly 3–5 minutes without needing a shuttle bus. It’s tagged as short-stay, so it suits trips of a few hours up to 2–3 days more than long holidays.

This car park mainly serves T2 and T3 flights, including many intra‑Schengen and European services. If you’re flying from T1, walking time from P2 to the T1 departures hall is usually around 8–10 minutes under cover. For T4 or T4S, skip P2 and book parking closer to that terminal or plan for an extra bus or train transfer.

P2 is a multi‑storey structure with clearly signed levels and marked pedestrian exits straight toward departures at T2 and T3. Spaces are standard-width, not oversized, and the layout can feel tight if you arrive in a larger SUV or van. Look for the colour‑coded sections and row numbers on each floor to note your spot before you head to the terminal.

Rates at P2 General are set for short-stay use, with hourly pricing aimed at drop-offs, pick-ups, and quick business trips, and daily caps that make sense for up to about 48–72 hours. For a week-long holiday, the P4 or long-stay options usually work out cheaper per day than P2, even once you add the shuttle time.

Entrances to P2 General are signposted on the airport access roads for T2 and T3, with automatic barriers, ticket dispensers, and license plate recognition at some lanes. Payment machines sit by pedestrian exits and inside the terminal, so you can pay right after landing before walking back to your car. Last tip: photograph your level and section as soon as you park; after a 3‑day trip, Level 2, Sector B looks a lot like Level 3, Sector C.
