Parking Space P7

Short stay

Five-minute walk from the Zentralterminal, P7 is true short-stay

Parking Space P7 sits roughly 0.3 miles from Leipzig/Halle’s Zentralterminal, so you’re looking at about a five-minute walk with a rollaboard. It’s signed as a short-stay lot, aimed at drop-offs, quick meetings, and pickups rather than week-long trips. Use it if your time in the terminal is measured in minutes, not days.

This is a surface lot, not a garage, so you park at ground level and walk straight toward the Zentralterminal entrances and Terminal B check-in. Being this close to both the Zentralterminal and Terminal B cuts out shuttle waits and extra stops. If you’re meeting someone off a domestic arrival in B, you can be from car to arrivals in under 10 minutes on a normal day.

P7 is classed as short stay, which usually means a higher hourly rate and a capped daily price that discourages multi-day parking. It tends to make sense if you’re staying under 6–8 hours, like for a quick business trip turn, a same-day return, or a pickup where you want to walk inside instead of looping the forecourt every 15 minutes.

Because P7 is only 0.3 miles out, it’s easier with light luggage or a single checked bag; hauling ski bags or multiple hard cases is better from a closer drop zone or a long-stay lot with shuttle if you’re gone several days. At night, stick to the marked pedestrian paths that run between P7 and the Zentralterminal so you’re not cutting across traffic.

Tip: Check LEJ’s official parking page the day before you drive; short-stay lots like P7 sometimes shift pricing or restrictions ahead of peak bank times and holiday periods.
