Parking Space P6

Valet

30 seconds from the Zentralterminal, someone else parks the car for you

P6 sits directly next to the Leipzig/Halle Zentralterminal, so drop-off is basically curbside. This is the airport’s valet option: you hand over the keys, staff park the car in the P6 area, and you walk a short signed route into the terminal. It’s all on-airport, no shuttle, and you stay within a few hundred meters of both the Zentralterminal and Terminal B check-in zones.

This is structured as classic valet parking at LEJ, not self-park. You stop at the marked P6 handover point by the terminal, do the paperwork, and staff move the vehicle into the adjoining lot. On return, you come back to the same P6 area next to the Zentralterminal, show your documents, and they bring the car back out. Plan an extra 10–15 minutes at both drop-off and pickup for queuing and handover.

Pricing at P6 usually sits in the higher band of Leipzig/Halle parking, above the standard multi-storey options like P1 and P4 near Terminal B. That premium covers the valet handling and the zero-walk setup right by departures. If you’re watching costs, compare your exact dates against the other official airport car parks; on some weekends the difference between P6 valet and a regular long-stay space can run to several euros per day.

Because P6 is beside the Zentralterminal, it lines up well with early flights out of Terminal B, where check-in for several carriers starts 2–3 hours before departure. If you’re landing late at night, factor in that valet operations at German regional airports sometimes scale down after the last wave of arrivals; build a 20-minute buffer post-landing so you’re not stressed waiting at the handover zone.

Tip: Pre-book P6 through the official LEJ parking portal and print or download the confirmation; it speeds up the handover at the Zentralterminal drop-off point and helps if staff need your booking number during pickup.
