0.3 miles from LEJ’s Zentralterminal, P15 is true long-stay
P15 sits about 0.3 miles from Leipzig/Halle’s Zentralterminal and is signed as a long-stay car park, so think trips of several days rather than a one-night stop. It connects into the main airport road system, so you’re aiming for the Zentralterminal area first, then following P15 on the blue parking signs. This isn’t a quick-drop option for the B gates; treat it as “park once, walk or shuttle in, then forget about the car” territory.
This is a classic long-stay layout with open-air spaces, not a multi-storey garage, and pricing is set up for multi-day use rather than hourly turnover. At Leipzig/Halle, long-stay daily rates usually undercut the closer Zentralterminal lots by a noticeable margin, especially past day three. If you’re parking for a full week, P15 often works out cheaper than taking a taxi both ways from central Leipzig, especially if two people are traveling.
The 0.3-mile distance to the Zentralterminal translates to roughly a 6–8 minute walk at normal pace, depending on luggage and weather. In bad weather, factor in a couple of extra minutes or check on-arrival signage for any active shuttle link toward the Zentralterminal. If you’re flying out of Terminal B, remember that check-in and arrivals still funnel through the Zentralterminal, so you don’t save time by hunting for something closer to B directly.
For a morning departure before 08:00, aim to reach P15 at least 90 minutes before your flight time to cover parking, the 0.3-mile walk, and security. Print or screenshot your parking confirmation with the “P15” lot code so you’re not scrolling for it at the entry barrier in the dark.
