30–60 minute drop-offs work best in P11 at LEJ
P11 sits directly next to the Zentralterminal at Leipzig/Halle Airport, so you walk a couple of minutes at most from car to check-in. It’s a short-stay car park only, meant for quick drop-offs, pick-ups, or a brief meet-and-greet run inside the terminal. If you’re carrying two or three bags or have kids in tow, the side-by-side layout with the terminal helps, because you’re not crossing long access roads or waiting on a shuttle.
This is one of the closest options to Terminal B as well, with the drive-in entrance lining up with the main terminal access road. P11 works best when your stop is under two hours and you care more about walking distance than price. Long-term rates in the outer lots usually beat P11 by a clear margin once you pass the half‑day mark, so don’t park here for a full weekend and expect it to be cheap.
P11 is signed as a Kurzzeit (short-stay) area on the airport road system, and pay stations sit right by the pedestrian exit toward the Zentralterminal doors. You pull a ticket at the barrier on entry, then pay at the machines before driving back out. If you’re dropping someone on a busy weekday morning around 07:00–09:00, build in an extra 10 minutes to find a spot closer to the terminal side of the lot.
Tip: For anything longer than a quick drop-off or a one‑hour pickup, compare P11’s short‑stay pricing with the main long‑term car parks before you lock the car and head into Leipzig/Halle’s Zentralterminal.
