Gate 1 in T1 is the closest landmark for Holy Burger
Holy Burger sits airside in Terminal 1 at Santorini (JTR), a few minutes’ walk from Gate 1 after security. It runs through the main departure peaks in summer season, roughly matching the morning wave of flights between 06:00 and 11:00, then again in the late afternoon bank. Off-season, hours shrink with the flight schedule, so don’t count on a late-night burger after the last Ryanair or easyJet departures.
Menu pricing lands in typical island-airport territory: expect around €10–€13 for a basic burger and closer to €15 for a loaded option with bacon or extra toppings. Fries usually add another €3–€4, and soft drinks sit in the €3 range. It’s more than Fira town, but in line with other food spots inside JTR T1. Card payment works fine, and terminals generally accept contactless from Visa, Mastercard, and most major wallets.
Food-wise, the focus is straightforward: beef burgers, chicken burgers, and fries, with the occasional vegetarian patty rotating on and off the menu depending on the season. If you want something simple before an Aegean or Sky Express hop to Athens, the classic cheeseburger with fries is the safe order. Portions skew medium; one burger plus fries usually does the job for a standard lunchtime layover between two island flights.
Seating runs along the concourse near the gate area, so you stay within a 1–2 minute walk of boarding calls from most Schengen stands in T1. There’s no table service; you order at the counter, grab a pager or wait for your name, then carry your tray back to the shared seating zone. Turnaround on orders in normal traffic seems to hover around 10–15 minutes, but that can stretch when several charter flights leave at once.
Tip: if you have an early-morning departure before 07:00, eat in town and treat Holy Burger as backup only, since opening times in T1 shift with the first outbound wave.
