2,910 spaces sit at P5, right on Terminal 3’s doorstep

P5 Parking is Haneda’s main car park for T3, with 2,910 spaces listed by the airport and direct access to the international terminal. The official address matches Terminal 3 itself, so if your GPS finds “Haneda Airport Terminal 3,” you’re essentially being routed to the right complex for P5 as well.

This is outdoor parking tied to T3, and it includes a reservation section with a 1,400 yen booking fee. That fee is higher than the 1,000 yen reservation charge at P2–P4, but you’re paying for the capacity and the Terminal 3 location. For longer trips out of HND’s international side, that extra 400 yen is small compared to the cost of a missed flight.

Haneda’s own notices flag a real risk: when P1–P5 are busy, drivers can face waits of several hours just to enter the parking lots. That warning applies to P5 too, especially on holidays and peak travel weekends. If you plan to roll up to T3 and pull a ticket, pad your arrival time by at least an hour on top of whatever you normally allow for check-in and security.

Regulars who park at Terminal 3 often reserve a space at P5 in advance and accept the 1,400 yen fee as an insurance policy. That way they lock in a spot in the right terminal zone and skip the “full” signs and long entry queues. If your flight time is tight or you’re driving in from far outside Tokyo, treat a P5 reservation as part of the ticket price.

Practical tip: set your navigation to “Haneda Airport Terminal 3” first, then follow on-airport signs for P5; that address match keeps you out of the wrong terminal loop when traffic is heavy.
