2,449 spaces right by T2: P3 is Haneda’s main T2 lot

P3 Parking sits beside Terminal 2 at Haneda (HND) and is the airport’s primary short-stay option for T2, with 2,449 spaces listed on the official parking map. It’s part of the central parking complex serving domestic T2 flights, so you park once and walk straight into T2 rather than riding a shuttle from a remote lot.

Haneda groups P3 with P2, P4, and P5 as the reservable terminal-side lots, and the airport shows a 1,000-yen reservation fee for these garages. Reservations are handled through Haneda’s parking system and are tied to a specific entry date, which matters if you’re timing arrival around early morning or late-night departures from T2.

A FlyerTalk regular notes that Haneda terminal parking reservations are 100% refundable up to 8 days before the parking date, so you can lock in a P3 reservation, watch your plans firm up, and cancel without penalty if your trip shifts more than a week out. That refundable window is what frequent HND drivers use as a hedge during holiday and Obon peaks.

Haneda’s own warnings flag that P1–P5, including P3, can back up badly in peak travel, with queues stretching long enough that people have missed flight cutoffs after “several hours” of waiting. If you’re driving in on a busy weekend or Golden Week, assume the lots can hit capacity even though P3 is large.

Plan around that: pay the 1,000 yen, reserve P3 ahead for T2, and aim to arrive at least 2–3 hours before departure during busy periods so you’re not stuck in a garage queue while boarding starts without you.
