Qantas Lounge

T3

Opens about three hours before Qantas departures in T3

This is the Qantas Lounge in Tokyo Haneda’s T3, used mainly by QF26 and QF80 passengers plus other oneworld premium and status travellers. It sits airside in the international departures area of Terminal 3, so you clear outbound passport control and security first, then follow oneworld/Qantas signs toward the central lounge cluster.

The lounge opens in the evening in time for Qantas departures to Sydney and Brisbane, then closes after the last QF flight boards; check the Qantas app for the exact time against your flight number, usually around three hours of coverage. If you arrive earlier in the day on, say, JAL JL codeshares or another oneworld flight, you may find the doors still shut and need a backup plan like the JAL Sakura Lounge in the same terminal.

Access runs on the standard oneworld rules: Qantas Business and First, oneworld Sapphire and Emerald, plus eligible Qantas Club and Qantas Points redemptions on oneworld flights from T3. Economy passengers on QF26 in particular often get in via status rather than cabin, so keep your digital card in the Qantas app, as staff do scan for oneworld status tiers at the desk.

The seating mix covers solo chairs, small tables, and a few spots with power outlets at every seat; look for the wall runs with universal sockets and USB ports spaced roughly every second seat. Wifi runs off Haneda’s T3 network with a separate Qantas splash page, usually showing speeds good enough for a 1080p stream and a quick 1–2 GB cloud sync before boarding.

Food sits on a single buffet line near the center, with hot dishes usually including at least one pasta or rice item plus a basic curry or stew before the late-night QF26 departure. Cold options lean on salad fixings, small sandwiches, and packaged snacks; if you want a proper Japanese meal, you’ll do better in T3’s public ramen and sushi spots on the fourth floor before security. Coffee comes from a self-serve machine; spirits and wine are self-pour with Australian labels often matching what’s on board QF flights.

Showers are limited, so in the 20:00–22:00 window before QF26 and QF80, expect a waitlist and give yourself at least 30 minutes buffer. Towels and basic amenities are provided, but if you prefer your own, pack a small 100 ml bottle of your usual shampoo in your carry-on.

Practical tip: if you care more about food than Qantas branding and hold oneworld Sapphire or Emerald, compare this lounge quickly then walk a few minutes to the nearby JAL Sakura Lounge in T3 for a fuller hot-meal spread before circling back to your gate.
