¥1,100 walk-up fee gets you into Power Lounge Central

This is the pay-per-use card lounge in Haneda T2, airside in the central area after security, sitting between the north and south piers. It’s separate from airline-branded lounges, and you can pay the standard ¥1,100 fee at the desk or enter with many Japanese credit cards that include lounge access.

Power Lounge Central opens roughly with Terminal 2’s first departures and typically runs until around the last ANA flights, so figure early-morning through late evening rather than 24 hours. It’s inside security in T2, so you can’t use it if you’re flying from T1 or T3 without re-clearing security in the correct terminal.

Seats line the large windows facing the T2 domestic apron, and you get clear views of ANA 737s and 787s parked on nearby gates. Plugs and USB outlets sit at almost every counter seat, and Wi‑Fi runs off the same free Haneda Airport network you see in the rest of T2, with the lounge SSID often giving a slightly stronger signal.

Drinks are self-serve and basic: expect free drip coffee, tea and soft drinks, usually including iced coffee and at least one juice option during the day. Alcohol is limited; when offered, it’s usually a small additional fee for beer, with some reports of canned options rotating by brand. Food is minimal, more like packaged snacks than a full meal, so eat in the main T2 restaurants if you want something substantial.

Seating skews toward solo travelers: long bar-style counters, two-top tables, and a few more relaxed chairs near the windows. Power Lounge Central isn’t huge for a terminal the size of T2, so on Sunday evenings and around the 18:00–20:00 bank of domestic departures it can feel close to full. You’ll still usually find one seat with a power outlet if you’re willing to sit away from the windows.

Restrooms sit just outside the lounge entrance in the same central concourse area, and there are no showers inside, unlike some international lounges in T3. Check flight screens in the lounge itself; T2 domestic gates can be up to a 10–12 minute walk from the central area if you draw one of the outer gates in the 50s.

Practical tip: if your card gives you one free lounge visit per trip, save it for a longer domestic delay in T2 and skip using it on a quick 20‑minute coffee stop at Power Lounge Central.
