First floor of T1 landside, Lounge Haneda sits before security
This is a card lounge in Terminal 1 at Haneda, on the landside before security, so you can use it even if you’re waiting for someone to arrive or haven’t checked in yet. It sits in the domestic terminal used by JAL and several other Japanese carriers, so double‑check that your flight leaves from T1 and not T2 or T3 before heading here.
Lounge Haneda runs long daily hours that generally track the first and last domestic departures from Terminal 1, so early morning flights around 06:00 and late evening flights close to 22:00 are usually covered. Because it’s landside, you still need to leave enough time to clear T1 security afterward; on busy holidays in Japan, security can spike past 20–30 minutes.
Access is through major Japanese credit cards and some international card programs, and walk‑up paid entry is sometimes offered around the ¥1,000–¥2,000 range, depending on the card partner. You don’t need a specific airline status here, just the right card or a willingness to pay the day rate at the desk.
Seating is mostly armchairs and small tables, laid out for short stays of 30–60 minutes rather than long layovers. Power outlets are not at every single seat, so if you need to charge a laptop or phone before a domestic hop from T1, grab a spot near the walls where the power strips and floor outlets usually cluster.
Snacks and drinks lean heavily toward soft drinks, tea, and coffee, with some alcoholic options typically available for an extra fee in the ¥200–¥500 range. Don’t expect full hot meals here; if you want a proper sit‑down meal, use the restaurants on the main T1 concourse and then drop into Lounge Haneda for drinks and a quieter place to sit.
There are no showers in Lounge Haneda, and bathrooms are in the terminal proper just outside the lounge doors, so plan on a quick step out if you need them. Wi‑Fi uses the same Haneda Airport network you see across T1, and speeds in user reports tend to sit in the “email and web browsing” range, not heavy 4K streaming.
Tip: Because this is landside, aim to leave Lounge Haneda at least 30 minutes before boarding for most domestic T1 gates, and 40–45 minutes during the busiest Obon, Golden Week, or New Year travel days.
