One-seat ride from Gimpo to northeast Seoul with space for bags

Airport Limousine Bus 6003 runs between Gimpo International Airport (GMP) and northeast Seoul, hitting areas like Sungshin Women’s University and Korea University with no subway transfers. The route serves both the International and Domestic terminals, so you can board right after collecting bags instead of dragging them into the B1 subway station.

From Gimpo, Bus 6003 typically reaches the Korea University area in about 60–80 minutes depending on traffic along the northern loop of central Seoul. It runs every 20–30 minutes during most of the day, and you board at the designated airport limousine stops outside the terminal exits rather than the city bus stops used by local routes.

Tickets for Bus 6003 usually cost in the ₩7,000–₩10,000 range per adult, cheaper than a solo taxi from Gimpo to Sungshin Women’s University or Korea University, which often runs over ₩25,000. You can pay with a T-money or Cashbee transit card when boarding, or buy a paper ticket at the airport limousine counter near the arrival halls in the International and Domestic terminals.

Dedicated luggage bays under the coach handle large suitcases better than Line 5 or Line 9 on the subway, where you’ll be squeezing bags through doors at busy stations like Yeongdeungpo-gu Office or Gongdeok. Most seats on 6003 are forward-facing coach-style seats, and boarding is via the front door only, so have your T-money card or ticket ready as you step on.

The route runs into the evening, often until around 22:00–23:00, but late-night service thins out to gaps closer to 30–40 minutes, especially after 21:00. First departures from Gimpo usually start around 05:30–06:00, which works for early hotel check-ins near Sungshin Women’s University or dorm areas around Korea University.

Practical tip: at Gimpo International, walk straight out of Arrivals on the 1st floor and follow the “Airport Limousine” signs to the numbered bus bays; confirm “6003” and your stop name on the side panel before boarding so you don’t end up on a different route serving southern Seoul.
