Toy Shop

T2

Near the T2 gates, Toy Shop is the kid trap.

This small Toy Shop sits airside in Terminal T2, so you hit it after security and before the Schengen gates. Stock skews to last‑minute gifts for kids who like planes: think airport‑branded toys, plush mascots, and simple games sized for cabin bags. It’s the kind of place where a quick 20–40 PLN spend buys you peace for a 2‑hour Gdańsk–London run.

Prices run higher than a city supermarket, as expected for T2, but still below some big hub airports in Germany or the UK. You’ll see plenty of items in the 20–60 PLN range, with a few larger sets going north of 100 PLN. Packaging is mostly compact enough for Ryanair and Wizz Air under‑seat bags, so you’re not gambling on oversize cabin luggage drama at the gate.

Stock changes with seasons and school holidays, and hours roughly track T2’s morning and evening bank of flights, opening before the first departures around 05:00 and usually running through the late‑evening returns around 22:00–23:00. Don’t expect niche collectibles or STEM kits; think mainstream brands plus Gdańsk‑and‑Poland themed toys that actually say “Gdańsk” on them, useful if you forgot souvenirs in the city.

Plan one stop: hit duty free first, then swing past Toy Shop so you know how much space is left in your backpack. If your flight from GDN is boarding in under 20 minutes, walk straight to the gate and save this for your next trip.
