Amber Jewellery

T2

T2’s main amber shop sits just past security as Amber Jewellery.

You’ll find Amber Jewellery in Terminal T2, airside, on the Schengen departures level. It focuses almost entirely on Baltic amber pieces, from small 20–30 PLN souvenirs to higher-end silver settings that run into the hundreds of zloty. Stock skews classic: necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and simple men’s cufflinks. It’s a straightforward stop if you want something that actually says “Gdańsk” without guessing in a generic duty-free.

Most of the smaller pendants and keyrings sit near the counter at under 100 PLN, while larger statement necklaces and sterling silver sets are in locked glass cases. Staff usually speak Polish and basic English, and they’ll bring pieces out so you can compare colors and inclusions under the lights. Card payments are standard, including contactless and mobile wallets, and you pay in PLN, not euros.

Nothing here is quick-grab like a kiosk; you’ll want at least 10–15 minutes if you’re choosing a gift over 200 PLN. The shop usually opens with the morning wave of T2 departures and runs through the last evening flights, roughly 05:00–22:00, in line with the main terminal schedule. Quality is noticeably higher than the random amber trays you’ll see in some souvenir stands landside in T1.

Selection can thin out on Sunday evenings after the weekend tourist rush, especially in mid-range 150–250 PLN pieces. If you care about getting a specific style or color tone, stop here right after clearing T2 security rather than waiting until boarding time; it’s less rushed and you’re still only a few minutes’ walk from most gates.
