Gate-side last stop in T2 for snacks and souvenirs

Baltona in Terminal T2 sits airside after security, so you can grab snacks and gifts without backtracking. It runs the usual duty-free mix: alcohol, perfume, cigarettes, chocolates, and some Polish sweets. Prices track standard EU duty-free levels, not downtown bargains, but fine for a quick bottle of Zubrówka or Wedel bars before boarding.

This shop mainly serves Schengen departures from T2, so you pass it on the walk to most gates. Expect plenty of 0.5L spirits, mid-range cosmetics brands, and multipack candy aimed at carry-on shoppers. Staff usually default to Polish, but Gdańsk gets solid UK and Scandinavian traffic, so English works without drama.

Food options lean packaged, not fresh: think 200 g chocolate blocks, travel-size snacks, and bottled drinks to take on board. If you want water, buy the 1L still bottles here rather than at the gate; gate kiosks in T2 tend to charge a bit more. Coffee is capsule and instant based around the corner, not a full espresso bar inside Baltona.

Payment is easy: card terminals handle contactless, Apple Pay, and major credit cards, with prices shown in PLN and sometimes EUR. If you have leftover złoty coins from the city, this is an easy place to burn them on gum or small sweets. One last thing: check the promo shelf near the entrance; discounted chocolates or 2-for deals are usually there, not at the main till.
