Relay

T1

By T1 security at GDN, Relay is your quick grab stop

This Relay sits in Terminal T1 at Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, just past security, so you can duck in right after screening and before heading toward the T1–T2 split. It runs long hours in line with flight banks, catching the early departures and late arrivals that use the older terminal.

Expect standard Relay stock: bottled water and soft drinks in the 5–10 PLN range, packaged snacks, and a wall of local and international magazines. You’ll also see Polish-language newspapers next to English titles, handy if you want something for a 1–2 hour hop to Warsaw or a longer Schengen leg.

Relay in T1 also carries basic travel gear: phone cables, EU plug adapters, small power banks, and neck pillows, all priced higher than city shops but normal for an airport kiosk. If you forgot a pen to fill out a landing card for a non‑Schengen destination out of T2, you can usually grab a cheap one here.

There’s a modest book section with a few English paperbacks and some Polish bestsellers; don’t bank on finding a specific title five minutes before your gate closes. Lines spike when two or three T1 departures cluster around the same 30‑minute window, since there aren’t many other shops on this side.

Practical tip: buy water and snacks here if you’re departing from T1; prices at the smaller gate kiosks nearer the stands can run a couple of złoty higher per item.
