T2’s main Polish souvenir stop sits just past security
About five minutes after clearing security in Terminal T2, you hit Discover Poland, a compact shop focused on last-minute local gifts. It sits airside on the main departures level, so you can duck in even with a 30‑minute boarding buffer. Layout is tight but straightforward: regional food on one side, books and maps on the other, with small trinkets and magnets near the entrance.
Expect shelves of Polish sweets, with standard 100 g chocolate bars frequently priced under 8–10 PLN, plus boxes of pierniki (gingerbread) from several brands. Vodka miniatures usually sit behind the counter; airport pricing runs higher than in town, but the 100 ml and 200 ml bottles still work well as gifts if you skipped a city supermarket. You’ll also see teas, jams, and a few amber-themed items, though the pricier jewelry tends to live in specialist boutiques elsewhere in T2.
Staff keep the shop open for the main wave of departures, typically aligning hours with T2’s morning and late‑afternoon banks; if you have a 05:30–07:00 or 16:00–20:00 flight, it’s almost always trading. Payment terminals handle cards and contactless in PLN and major foreign cards, and prices are clearly tagged, so you can move quickly if your gate, like those in the teens, is a five‑minute walk away.
One practical tip: if you want snacks for the flight, buy sealed items here in T2 rather than before security; anything liquid over 100 ml from landside shops will get stopped at screening.
